We are military members who have come to understand
the importance of financial and investing knowledge.
Our founder is a Marine Corps veteran and has attained his Bachelor of Science
degree in Finance and a
Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in
Financial Management. You
can read more about him in his letter to you below.
We do need to point out that we are not licensed or
certified investment professionals; however, our
collective experience, sprinkled with a Finance
degree or two, has led us to make some financial and
investing decisions which have served us very well
and we created this free web site so that we could
make that financial information available to you!
What are our beliefs?
It is our firm belief that even a basic level of
knowledge about personal finance and investing topics,
such as banking, saving, and smart investing, can
lead to wise financial decisions which, in turn, can
lead to financial success for you and your family.
There is a lot of "noise" and opinion out there when
it comes to personal finance and investing advice,
some of it good and some of it bad. We firmly
believe that if you commit yourself to understanding
the "basics" of personal finance and
make decisions based on this knowledge, you will
achieve results that you will be happy
with. Simply put, we don't believe that you have to
be a "financial guru" or "investment genius" to
achieve financial success. From our
experience, military professionals, as well as the
majority of other people working a 9-5 job, are very
busy people and often can't devote adequate time to
research for answers to their financial and
investing questions. Many times, this leads us to
take financial advice from relatives and friends who
may or may not know what they are talking
about. Let's face it, uninformed financial
decisions can cost us a lot of money! We believe
that "financially educated" people are better
prepared to make the financial and investment
decisions that we all often face.
Our Goal: Financially educated people, both military
and civilian.
The folks here at
MilitaryInvestors.com
understand that this may be a lofty goal, but we are
committed to making this site a wealth
of information on personal finance and investing topics.
Our goal for this
site is to provide you with the tools and resources,
both in our own commentary and through links to
other financial resources on the web, that you can
use to conduct your own research for answers to your
financial and investing questions. By providing
valuable content, as well as links to the best sources of financial information
on the web, we are hoping to become a "one-stop
shop" for financial and investing information,
thereby saving our viewers hours and hours of time
spent scouring the Internet trying to find answers
to their questions. We sincerely hope that our
efforts result in "financially educated" people,
both military and civilian, that are armed with the
information that will help them make well informed
financial decisions for themselves and their
families.
